Due to the alcohol content, this oil works well against some pathogenic bacteria and fungi. In addition, oils rich in esters have a mild antispasmodic and calming effect on the central nervous system.

Its strong and intense scent is reminiscent of a rose, so it is a common ingredient in perfumes and other cosmetic products. Geranium oil is used to beautify the skin and hair, against infections, and to relieve stress and tension. It has a favorable effect on the heart rhythm, blood pressure, breathing, immune system, and helps in cell and tissue regeneration. It is characterized by strong antimicrobial properties and has an anti-inflammatory effect, which is why it is used in wound care. It lifts the mood and relieves tension.
