Fennel essential oil (Foeniculi aetheroleum) – Foeniculum vulgare Mill., Apiaceae
Fennel essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of fresh stems, flowers and seeds of fennel. It is an excellent odor corrector and bacteriostatic, which is why it is often used in natural cosmetics. It has a calming effect on the digestive system, and a secretolytic effect on the respiratory system, so it alleviates the problems of bronchitis and asthma.
